At his first show at NW Washington in the 1999 winter Specialty he was judged by International Italian Judge, Dr. Guido Perosino. Dr. Perosino described Jake as being, "an Excellent, Excellent puppy!"

At The 2000 LCA National Specialty, International Swedish judge Petra Junehall, described Jake as, "The most impressive dog of the whole show."
